BYD Cars Philippines Hosts First-Ever “Ride & Drive” Event with Partner Banks | Motourismo

BYD Cars Philippines, in partnership with ACMobility, successfully held its inaugural “BYD Ride & Drive” event, bringing together 75 participants including BYD dealer principals, ACMobility employees, and executives from nine leading partner banks.

The event featured a scenic drive from BYD Manila Bay to Antonio’s in Tagaytay, with participants behind the wheel of BYD’s latest models — the Tang DM-i and Sealion 5 DM-i. Designed to foster deeper collaboration and trust, the initiative gave bank partners a firsthand experience of BYD’s cutting-edge electric vehicle technology while strengthening ties across the dealer network.

“Our goal was to create a meaningful experience that goes beyond the showroom,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. “We wanted our partners to feel the innovation and quality of our vehicles firsthand, and more importantly, to reinforce the spirit of partnership that drives our shared success.”

The journey began at BYD Manila Bay with brand and followed by a refreshment stop at BYD Sta Rosa. Throughout the journey, ACMobility’s Power on Wheels ensured that every vehicle’s battery remained fully supported. At Antonio’s Tagaytay, participants engaged in open dialogue about future collaboration and shared feedback on the drive experience.  The event concluded with an exclusive preview of the eMAX 9 — a day ahead of its official launch.
